Artwork: A study of a Mounted Cat by artist Fiigenschou
This drawing from the Fiigenschou Sketchbook (1631-1632) is believed to have been a study for the large equestrian portrait of Duke Gusman of Stadtwalt. Although quite similar, there are some small changes Fiigenschou made when approaching the version in oil colors. He removed the maze head from the pole in the right hand of Duke Gusman.
