Statement
Michelangelo made man into a god...I want to follow in his footsteps. Images of the male nude can indeed be erotic and sexy...we all know there's enough of that on the net. A painting is more special, its why we call it ART. If I knew how to put into words what my paintings are, I probably wouldn't need to paint at all. Have a look. Biography
Arzeian has always had a passion for the arts, Painting drawing and sculpture mainly but with continuing interests in modern dance, music and theatre. He admits that in the main, he was fundimentally self taught drawing and painting. Art schools generally push the notions of contemporary art and ideas rather than the truer craft of skills and abilities to draw and paint. A shame but with the advent of the internet and mobile phone devices, Man as a creative being is loosing his ability to write (by hand) and draw. Furthermore what is scary, Arzeian states; is that we may be entering into a generation where documents like photographs and letters are lost due to a constant change in technology. Oil on canvas has stood the test of time at least.
