Female. American. I live and work in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for now.

Statement
I make oil paintings on translucent surfaces thus having the option of being illuminated with LED panels and other creative lighting solutions.

I'd like to mention that by looking at images of these paintings you are totally missing out on the gorgeous surface quality of the paint. It's so luscious it makes me wanna lick it.

I'd also like to point out that I rarely update this website. There is usually at least 6 months of lag time between painting and photographing the work. I think it's important that everyone understands that I am painting. I'm never going to stop painting. It's just so time consuming to get everything together, have the right lighting set up, photograph everything, color match and crop, change the file sizes, and organize and upload everything online. it really can be a large undertaking and it isn't exactly fun to do, very tedious actually. hopefully, one day, I can pay someone to do all that for me.

Biography
I started painting and drawing consistently when I was 14, primarily as a result of boredom and curiosity. I've come a long way since then mostly by being very experimental. I made the biggest developments in my senior year at the U of M 2007-08. I'm going to be an R.T. soon, I will have money then. As a result, there should be some really exciting things happening within the next 5-10 years. you'll see...
