About Me
There isn't a medium that I've tried that I don't like. But, my favorites are watercolor & colored pencil.

Statement
As I get older and my eyesight changes, God teaches me a beautiful metaphor about life and art. My understanding and vision improve when I look at these things from a distance. When viewing them close-up, I need the help of friends (glasses).

Education
Northern Illinois University- BFA in Fine Art/Illustration
I continue to take classes in Colored Pencil, Drawing & Oil painting to keep my skills up.

Biography
I received my BFA from NIU and went on to work in graphics for 5 years. I have been a freelance artist for over 15 years. I show my work locally and sometimes volunteer my art services to my church. I have taught art to incarcerated young women as a volunteer at IYC, Warrenville. For the past 14 years, I have taught art at Kaleidoscope School of Art to ages preschool through adult; and privately to various homeschool groups in the Chicagoland area. I have two children away at college and I live with my husband in Cary, IL.
