About Me
I live in Wanganui, New Zealand. I am a fulltime artist my favourite parts of being an artist is painting, photography and using my creativity in web development.

I realised in 2001 if I was to follow my dream of becoming an artist I had to move from the city, Auckland, so I packed up my stuff and moved to Rotorua and painted full time. 3 years later I moved again to Wanganui to be close to my family and get involved in the art community. I found a great building to open a working studio and a pretty dam nice man as well.

I love to learn as it has shaped my life tremendously I have held many positions working in the hairdressing industry, film, retail, It, hospitality, media and now the art industry which I love!

My love of the arts has taken me on an amazing journey. I established The Paint Pit and Quayhole Gallery for the art community in Wanganui, artist’s nation and worldwide have also used the space. My goal was to provide a safe environment for people alike to come freely to exhibit and create work with the exchange of support, kindness and knowledge. I feel I was successful with reaching my goal and have now moved onto concentrating on my own work.

I am a prolific artist and have produced hundreds of pieces of work which I adopt and lease out to people all over the world.

My main medium to work with is paint and my hobby is photography, and I would like to do more sculpture, glass, print making, drawing, and learn new skills.

My influences are Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, the Pacific culture, people, colour, textures, nature, love, music, my friends, and my faith and spiritual connection with the universe.

I am also a collector of art and have over 20 pieces in my personal collection which have taken my eye over the years.

I find myself to be community minded and have been involved with voluntary associations to help build better communities the Glen Innes Business Association, Ngongotaha Business Association, Wanganui Art Society and now a trustee for the Wanganui Open Artist Studio helping with the promotion of this event held at the end of March and beginning of April.

Being married to a web developer I have found myself building websites and enjoying learning about the web and have built these websites with the help of my wonderful husband.
