About Me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Kansas with a BFA in Art, emphasis in painting and a minor in Art history. I am very interested in working with a not for profit art programs and being able to provide occasions to encourage creativity to children and others who normally don't have that opportunity. I am continuing to create on my own while maintaining a part time job, learning how to keep my art growing and advancing on my own. While also continuing to experiment translating my aesthetic and vision into printmaking and sculpture.

Biography
I am inspired and encouraged by nature, it is a love of mine and always has been. I work on plein air, from photographs I have taken, and from ink sketches done on site. I emphasize the simple beauty of nature, the way the color of the clouds layer on top of each other, the patterns of the trees, how they lay to the overlapping of branches and the patterns of the bark. Nature truly is a gift and I believe it is one that should not be overlooked. That is what inspires me, in my art and in my own daily life.
