Statement
My work is phrenically figurative. These are not just pictures of bodies however, I paint imagery for particular concepts and ideas. The edge of understanding is what I find fascinating. I like to explore the emotion and philosophy of these ideas in my paintings using heroic or tragic figures for narration. The human form describes this perspective best, and like my forms, concepts and ideas warp with observation and imagination.
I must explore and describe this journey and painting satisfies both. I must paint ad inexplorata, into the labyrinth.
