About Me
I'm a professional Jazz guitarist from Calgary, by way of Hamilton Ontario, who really digs Painting. When I can't find my 'musical muse', that's generally when the painting thing happens for me. If I had it to do all over again, I think I would have taken Visual Art a lot more seriously. There is something about being visually creative, (or trying to be at least) that is unlike any other experience for me. I just wish I had developed the skills better in a vocational kind of way. Music, and visual art are two very different, yet VERY similar forms of self expression for me. Sometimes they make me feel warm, and comfortable. Sometimes they make me feel like I loathe myself. Sometimes they make me feel empowered, and sometimes they make me feel vulnerable.... Any which way, they make me FEEL...
The works I post here on Artifolio are a representation of my emerging artistic skill set. Any criticism is welcome.
