Description - Using a travel watercolor palette and water scooped from Lake Superior this was painted on location in Grand Marais from observation. The grand opening for the wilderness supply store Stone Harbor hosted a canoe demo. Paddled for a time, looked 40 feet down in the clear water came back and painted this image. 5" x10.5" August, 2010
