Posted by gareth lane Hi I think my problem with this is the varnish which detracts from whats going on underneath and gives the appearance of treated animal skin. The limited use of colour and the raised lines work well,it reminds me of the small plots of land enclosed by dry stone walls you get in Ireland, Scotland and parts of Wales. The upper section I dont think works with the lines. The colours work and the bruises of darker blue are well balanced but the linear surface detracts from it. Kind Regards Gareth
