MASTERCLASS SHEFQET AVDUSH EMINI

Ik ontmoette Shefqet op een kunstenaars website in het voorjaar 2011. Bij het zien van zijn werk was ik gelijk verkocht. Op slag was ik verliefd op zijn penseelstreek en zijn kleurgebruik. En dat terwijl ik toch heel veel werk zie, maar dat me dan niet in mijn hart raakt.
Ik mailde Shefqet om te vragen of hij een masterclass wilde geven in mijn Atelier Filarski in Schijndel. Daar stond hij heel positief tegenover. Ik voelde mij heel vereerd. Ik werd uitgenodigd bij hem thuis, werkelijk allerhartelijkst.
Shefqet gaf een spetterende masterclass in mijn atelier. Hij gaf een heerlijke demonstratie, waarbij de deelnemers aan zijn lippen hingen. Er werd buiten gewerkt in de tuin, het was voor nederlandse begrippen een prachtige dag.
De deelnemers werden aangezet tot heel hard werken. Sommigen hadden wel 9 werken gemaakt om 4 uur in de middag. Het schilderen ging over vrijmaken, vrij werken, lef en durf tonen, niet zoveel denken.
De deelnemers waren ontzettend moe aan het einde van de dag maar ook ontzettend tevreden.
Daarna heb ik nog masterclasses met hem georganiseerd op 12 februari en15 april 2012.
Nu terug naar het werk van Shefqet.
Shefqet heeft Academije opleiding gehad in Prishtina, Kosovo. En dat is bij zijn schilderijen te zien. Hij weet precies hoe de menselijke figuur in elkaar zit. Dat is vaak zichtbaar bij de ogen. Hoewel hij de ogen en monden ogenschijnlijk heel precies schildert, is het tegendeel waar. Hij schildert deze in vlekken. Hij stapt regelmatig achteruit om te kijken, spuugt een beetje op zijn vinger, maakt de vlek weer een beetje minder zichtbaar, net zolang tot hij denkt dat dat stukje goed is. Maar voor hetzelfde geld schildert hij het hele gezicht weg in een vlak, dat overgaat in de achtergrond kleuren.
Jammer vind ik het dat ik geen inzicht heb in zijn beginwerk. Ik zou wel eens willen weten of hij in Kosovo een andere kleurstelling gebruikte. Van eigen zeggen was het veel figuratiever en donkerder van kleur. Ook werken uit 2003 zijn soberder van kleur, naast rood en blauw ook veel zwart.
Nu gebruikt hij allemaal heldere kleuren, waarbij het rood, het geel en blauw een eenheid vormen. Het maken van een eenheid in rood,blauw en geel is bepaald niet gemakkelijk, want zij vragen allemaal heel veel aandacht. Shefqet slaagt er echter in om er een geheel van te maken.
Persoonlijk vind ik de schilderijen waar een sterk contrast zichtbaar is tussen heel verfijnd (b.v. de ogen) en de zeer expressieve vlakken, het interessantste.
Zijn schilderijen ontstaan uit de emotie van dit ogenblik, zij moeten ook gelijk goed zijn, anders is het risico groot dat hij gaat pietepeuten.
Je moet daarvoor een sterk persoon zijn, zonder twijfel, en met de gedachte als het niet goed is gegaan, ga ik er gewoon overheen of begin ik opnieuw.

Ai pas gjimnazit nė Shtime dhe nė Ferizaj, bėhet student i Akademisė sė Arteve nė Prishtinė, ku pjesėn mė tėmadhe tė kohės e kalon nė atele duke pikturuar dhe duke studiuar veprat e mjeshtėrve tė mėdhenj. Si student, idol do ta ketė Rembrandtin, ku njė ditė, papritur do tė jetė pjesė e atdheut tė tij. Diku nė fillim tė viteve tetėdhjetė, derisa po pinim kafe nė byfenė e Akademisė me profesor Anton Gllasniqin, aty hyri Shefqeti. Ulu me ne Gjeni, i tha profesori, derisa studenti i tij mezi gjente vend ku ta vendoste bllokun e madh. -Nuk ka qenė lehtė: nė njė anė ishte situata e rėndė politike nėn okupimin e Serbisė, ndėrsa bashkė me tė edhe gjendja e rėndė ekonomike dhe ndėrprerja e perspektivės pėr arsimim dhe krijimtari tė tė gjitha fushave. .Kushtet e punės kanė qenė tejet tė vėshtira. I kam 3 vajza e njė djalė, tė gjithė studiojnė, dy vajzat juridikun , djali ICT kusrse vajza mė e vogėl ėshtė nė shkollėn e mesme. Unė, si dihet, merrem me krijimtari aristike, jap master klasė nė njė akademi private dhe jap workshops. Po nga ana tjetėr udhėtoj shumė, si pėrmendė mė parė nė symposiume, workshop-e dhe seminare.
- Cka ju pret nė tė ardhmen. A mund t'ju pėrgjigjeni me punė kėrkesave krijuese qė ju shfaqen si artist?
- Ne vitet te fundit nuk mund tu pėrgjigjem kėrkesave qė mė ofrohen. Por e bėj seleksionimin simbas kushteve qė ofrojnė vendet ku ekspozohet. Do tė vazhdoj tė punoj deri sa tė jam nė gjendje tė regullt shėndetėsore. Mė tėrheqin vende mė tė panjohura qė ende nuk i kam vizituar.
Mė nė fund jam shumė i lumtur qė mu dha mundėsia tė lė njė testament tė kulturės shqiptare nė hisotrinė e artit botėror, qė brezat e ardhshėm tė kenė ēka tė mėsojnė dhe ta ndjejnė krenarinė qė i takojmė njė kombi qė i ka dhėnė diēka kulturės botėrore.

Biografie:
Shefqet Avdush Emini, een internationaal erkende kunstenaar, geboren in Davidovc in Kosovo op 2 juni 1957. Hij studeerde beeldende kunst als een jonge man aan de kunstacademie in Pristina (Kosovo) en werkte, na het beėindigen van zijn opleiding, als een kunstenaar en kunst leraar in diverse steden in Kosovo. Sinds twee decennia, toen de oorlog uitbrak in Kosovo, is Shefqet Avdush Emini woonachtig in Nederland, samen met zijn familie. Hij is als een kunstenaar en kunst leraar kunnen wonen en werken over de hele wereld, hoewel hij altijd zal worden verbonden met zijn wortels naar Kosovo. In verscheidene werken van zijn hand zal u zitten kundig voor ontdekken deze wortels en zijn gemengde gevoelens van in het buitenland wonen. Shefqet Avdush Emini is een academisch geschoolde kunstenaar die ontwikkelde zijn eigen stijl, zijn eigen 'handtekening', die hem beroemd gemaakt. Shefqet Avdush Emini, an international recognized artist, is born in Davidovc in Kosovo on 2 June 1957. He studied Visual Arts as a young man at the Art Academy in Pristina (Kosovo) and worked, after finishing his education, as an artist and art teacher in several towns in Kosovo. Since two decennia, when war broke out in Kosovo, Shefqet Avdush Emini is living in the Netherlands, together with his family. As an artist and art teacher he is able to live and work all over the world, though he always will be connected with his roots to Kosovo. In several works of his hand you will be able to discover these roots and his mixed feelings of living abroad. Shefqet Avdush Emini is an academically educated artist who developed his own style, his own signature, which made him famous. The list of exhibitions of his artworks in museums and art galleries worldwide is long. London Kennington station for 2 weeks, between 11th-25th April.
Shefqet Avdush Emini is the first artist to represent BOA on posters,
currently in London. The Kosovan born artist, now lives in Holland
and works as a lecturer between painting his figurative abstract
expressionism. Shefqet has exhibited his beautiful oil-on-canvas
masterpieces all over the world, including the Musée du Louvre, Paris.
