watercolor not finished yet....

Boy has time flown!!! working on a new watercolor!  Pics when done!!!!!!

school starts next week!!!  Now some time on my own!  I will clean out my studio and get back to work!!! Yea!

just getting the kids ready for school.  busy busy!

just started sketching out a new project......kind of in a funk lately....ready for a weather change to fall!!!!

set up a new still life, not in the mood for one now....busy busy busy....maybe this weekend I'll get some time to paint!

sold the abstract flowers.....yeah!

I finally switched out my art at the gallery.  I am curious to see what if any reaction they bring.  It is the first time I have shown my abstract work locally.

Now what to paint next???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I will finish wiring my art and take them to the gallery tomorrow....wonder what Roswell will think???

I have decided to change it up and  put all my abstract in the gallery here....can't wait to see the reaction...

Well, by painting titled "Going Home" was the only one out of six to be jurored in.....at least one made it.....

We've had two extra kids for a few days now and my mind is a jumble!!!  Not sure what I want to paint next...I have a square canvas I am drawn to the shape of.   ?????

I'm not sure if any of you are old enough to remember the show Night Gallery....one episode had an old painting they rubbed to reveal another painting...this one was alive!  Of course, the Night Gallery was spooky....but I love the idea!  I would love to paint a scene that is alive...you could enter that world just by staring!

never have blogged before....not sure what to write(say)  Not sure why anyone would read this?  just everyday thoughts, raising 3 girls, being a treatment foster mom, evolving as an artist a person.  wanting to pull by hair out one day and rejoicing the next...life is funny, huh?  reaching out is human nature.. I guess this is another attempt!

entered 6 pieces in a local juried show, waiting to hear which  made it in....excited!  All are posted here, I will let you know which ones made it.....(hopefully atleast one)  Still working on my new abstract.  Love it, just thinks it needs more????  Can't decide what yet...
