...always intruiged with the SLR (film), that it is *that* fraction of a second or what have you that you actually do not see through the camera... *that* fraction of a second that captures the image forever. An image you never saw unless you had a view finder.
Now I have a digital SLR-doesn't even have a viewfinder- but still.. when I squeeze the shutter, the image on the screen blacks out.
I hate that.
